Patricia Peterson (1948 – 2011)

Patricia M. Peterson, age 62 lifelong resident of Kenosha, died Friday January 7th 2011 at Golden Living Center.

Born on March 16th 1948 Pat was the third of five children born of the late Carl F. Warnock and Elizabeth (Molinaro) Warnock of Kenosha.

Pat’s early childhood was spent in the old Lincoln neighborhood of Kenosha and later on the west side where she attended Lance and Tremper High School. She married young and had two daughters who she eventually raised as a single mom. Pat worked many jobs to provide for her family and finally found her true calling when she began working as a caregiver for the elderly and disabled. Over the years Pat provided love and care to countless clients who benefited immeasurably from her skill and compassion. Above all, her family which includes her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember her endless love and devotion.

She is survived by two daughters; Katherine J. Moreno and Dawn R. Cutler, seven grandchildren; Tony Moreno, Nikki Moreno, Samantha E, Kamholz, Cody W. Kamholz, Carlee J. Grant, Great Grandchildren: Kiira L. Murray, Christopher T. Murray; three brothers; Donald C. (Nancy) Warnock of Kenosha, Wayne K. (Sandi) Warnock of Waverly TN, Jeffrey L. (Shirley) Warnock of Kenosha, and one sister Cheryl A. Warnock of Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl.

The family would like to thank the care givers of Golden Living Center, Seasons Hospice, Mary King at the Department of Aging, Dr. K.C. Kolenko, Dr. Herbert Roehrich, Natalie Gallo, PA and the many individuals who loved and supported Pat over the past several years.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 13th 2011 at 6:00PM at the Woman’s Club in downtown Kenosha. (6028-8th Avenue, across from Library Park) Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the Woman’s Club from 5:00PM until the time of service. Private burial will take place on Friday January 14th 2011 at St. George Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer’s Association National Office would be appreciated (225 North Michigan Avenue Floor 17, Chicago, Il 60601).
