Eleanor Stec-Sciacca (1922 – 2005)

Eleanor Stec-Sciacca, age 82, a resident of Bristol, died Sunday July 10, 2005 at her residence.

Born on September 7, 1922 in Cicero IL, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Citak) Rams.

She was educated in the schools of IL.

On November 25, 1943 in Chicago IL she married Edward S. Stec. He died in October of 1978. She would later marry Carl R. Sciacca in Niles IL on January 18, 1987. He died in February of 1997.

She lived in IL most of her adult life, residing in Chicago and later in Niles IL before she moved to WI about 10 years ago.

She attended St. Anne Catholic Church. She was very rich in her faith. She loved art and enjoyed painting. She was an avid reader, and also did quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Kenosha.

She is survived by three daughters; Sandra S. (Lawrence) Stoltz of Chicago, Patricia A. (Gary) Frake of Glenview IL, Catherine M. (James) Leibforth of Bristol; four stepchildren; Carole(John) Olis, Dolores (John) Carlson, Michele (Robert) Carmody, Jude (Kathy) Sciacca; seven grandchildren, Jonas and Monica Stoltz; Greg Frake, Ashley, Jimmy, Jamilee and Lucas Leibforth; 16 step grandchildren; one great grandchild Wolfgang Stoltz and one sister Adeline Fugiel of Lake Villa IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents both husbands, four brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2005 at 11:00AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie. (9091-Prairie Ridge Blvd. Enter from HWY C) Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Burial will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles IL.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Hospice Alliance and Dr. Joshua Bloom and his staff for their exceptional care over the years.
