Victeleen Brand (1938 – 2010)

Victeleen “Vicky” M. Brand, age 72, a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday September 2, 2010 at her residence.

Born on March 8th 1938 in Racine, WI, she was the daughter of Adolph and Virginia (Billings) Hansen of Kansasville, WI.

She was educated in the schools of Union Grove, WI.

On January 14, 1956, she would marry Richard J. Brand, Sr. at St. Johns Catholic Church in Paris, WI.

Vicky enjoyed being with her family, sitting outside on her deck watching the wildlife, trips to the casino and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of Kenosha, her mother of Kansasville, WI, four sons; Frederick Brand of Kenosha, Robert (Mary) Brand of Kenosha, William (Julie Hijik)Brand of Kenosha, Craig Brand of Kenosha, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers; Dallas (Janet) Hansen of Fond Du Lac, WI, Vermont (Linda) Hansen of Kansasville, WI and two sisters, Sonya (Tom) Savage of Hoyt Lakes, MN, and Eleanore (Dick) Metzger of Kansasville, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter VickyLynne Brand Morgan and one son Richard J. Brand, Jr.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, family asks that contributions/donations be sent for the purchase of a memorial plaque in care of Richard Brand, Sr. at 4002 45th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53144.
