Sean C. Skeans (1976-2014)

Sean Skeanes

Sean C. Skeans, age 37, a resident of Kenosha died Friday July 25, 2014 in his home.

            Born on September 6, 1976, he was the son of Leah (Laybourn) Milligan and the late David Ray Skeans.

            He was raised in Kenosha and educated in the schools of Kenosha.

            He worked as a laborer or customer service representative for various employers. He loved sports, both watching and playing. He excelled in football as a young man.  Sean also thoroughly enjoyed movies and video games.  His greatest passion of all was raising his son, Tristan Skeans.

            He is survived by his mother and step-father Leah & Herschel (Dean) Milligan; son Tristan Skeans and his brother Tyler Allen; two brothers with spouses, Jacob & Heather Skeans of Pleasant Prairie and Sean & Christina Doherty of California; three sisters Davina, Bridgette and Shannon Skeans, all of Mexico; and step-sister and husband Sheri & Carl Holborn of Kenosha. He is further survived by nieces and nephews Carl Holborn, Reese Skeans, and Izabella Skeans; aunts and uncles Scott & Sheila Laybourn,  Lance & Kathleen Laybourn, and Mary Laybourn; as well as Floyd Skeans, Robert Skeans, Ruby Andersen, Dan Skeans, and Della Peterson.

            He was preceded in death by his father David Ray Skeans, sister Heather Marie Skeans, and brother Bryan Casey Skeans.

            Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 1 at 6:00PM at Immanuel Baptist Church. (6009 Pershing Blvd) Visitation with the family will also be Friday at the church from 4:30PM until the time of services.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
