Robert Kollmann (1936-2019)

       Robert “Boob” Kollmann, age 83, died peacefully at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was born on May 3, 1936, the sixth of nine siblings, to Sylvester Kollmann and Tessie (Fessenden) McCulloch in Kenosha. He attended Kenosha schools and left to join the Marines, proudly serving in the Korean War. He returned to Kenosha and owned the Keno Koffee Pot for many years and was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. Bob loved boating, golf, bowling and baseball. He devoted most of his life coaching and mentoring individuals involved with the Kenosha Special Olympics.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Arlene LaRose, Allen Kollmann, and Raymond Kollmann.

      He is survived by his children Pam (Robbie) Carson of Hunt, TX, Tammi (Fred) Matz of Spring Hill, FL, and Robert C. Kollmann of Kenosha, WI and siblings Shirley Ruffolo, Marilyn Plutchak, Eugenia (Robert) Gruber, Therese Winters and Arnold (Vicki) Kollmann, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

         At Bob’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to Kenosha Special Olympics and sent to 5912 44th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
