Paula A. (Falduto) Shaughnessy (1948-2014)

Paula Shaughnessy

            Paula A. Shaughnessy, age 66 a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday February 1st 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.

            Paula was born January 31, 1948 to Paul and Ann (Morabito) Falduto Sr. in Kenosha. She attended the schools of Kenosha graduating from Bradford High School.

 

            On August 16, 1969 she married Patrick Shaughnessy Sr. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

 

            She held many different jobs but especially enjoyed her time as the floral manager at the Pick N Save. Many people enjoyed Paula’s efforts as she designed balloon & floral arrangements.  She most recently worked at Miracle Ear assisting customers.

 

            Paula loved people more than anything.  She enjoyed family time, cooking and her grandchildren. Paula had an infectious personality which could make anyone smile.

 

            Paula is survived by her husband Patrick Sr. of Kenosha, her son Patrick Jr. of Kenosha, her daughter Tracy (Sean) Wright of Plant City, FL and two grandchildren Alyssa and Andrew. She is further survived by her sister Marilyn (Leo) Froemming of Germantown and three brothers, Paulie (Debra) Falduto of Port Charlotte, FL, Chuckie Falduto of Racine and Joey (Jill) Falduto of Kenosha.

 

Funeral services will be held TODAY, February 4th 2014 at 7:00PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (5601-Washington Road) Visitation with the family will be held today at the church from 5:30PM until the time of services. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 9:00AM at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

 

            She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

            In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

 

            The family would like to extend a special thank you to Paige and the entire Aurora ICU team.

    Paula was a very kind and caring person always willing to do things for others. She really enjoyed working on flower arrangements and making different crafts for people. She will be missed by everyone, especially her family.
