Michael L. Freitag, age 48, a resident of Kenosha, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at St. Catherine?s Medical Center Campus in Pleasant Prairie.
Born on November 25, 1958 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Everett Freitag and Alice (Grady) Freitag of Kenosha.
He was educated in local schools. He was in the US Marines. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was employed as an assemblyman at Chrysler.
He is survived by his mother Alice Freitag; three sons David (Carla) Salas, Shawn Salas, and Joe Freitag, all of Paddock Lake; one brother Larry (Sharon) Freitag of Wheatland WI; two sisters Judy Dabbs of Pleasant Prairie, and Patti (Mike) Levandoski of Burlington; seven grandchildren Derek, Dalton, Jordan, Briana, Paige, Isaac, and Lexi; and one great-grandchild Lila. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one son Wilber Freitag.
Services will be private, and burial will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
