Joe Gigliotti

Joseph Marvin Gigliotti, age 63, of Kenosha passed away on July 5, 2018 at Froedtert South-Kenosha Campus with his family by his side.

Joe was born on October 27, 1954 in Kenosha to Frank and Cecelia (Vigo) Gigliotti. He was educated in Kenosha area schools and graduated from Tremper High School.

Joe married Jill Weyrauch in Kenosha on May 30, 1993. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation for 30 years, until his retirement on April 30, 2003. Joe was very active at St. Thomas Catholic Church where he called bingo on Saturday nights, served as an usher for many years and very involved in the summer festival. He was also very active in sports; he was an avid golfer, played softball in the city league, as well as bowling, worked as an umpire for the softball league and enjoyed cards with friends. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by, his parents and a grandchild, Daviantae.

Joe is survived by, his wife, Jill of Kenosha; three sons, Joe (Tiffany Occelshaw) Gigliotti of Bristol, Dominic and Mario Gigliotti both of Kenosha; three daughters, Melinda (Jammal Griffin) Gigliotti, Cassandra (Terry Ford) Gigliotti and Laurel Gigliotti all of Kenosha; eight grandchildren, Angeleah, Jade, Logan, Brycen, Tyson, Tiara, Stefano and Calvin; a sister, Rozanna Gigliotti of Kenosha as well as other family and many friends.

A memorial service for Joe will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church (7104 – 39th Avenue) on Saturday, July 14, 2018. A visitation will take place at the church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

    Condolences to the entire Gigliotti Family. I worked with Joe at Chrysler for many years. Sat with him at many union meetings and card games. Will always be remembered.
