Jacqueline Fonk (1924 – 2005)

Jacqueline Fonk, age 81 a resident of Racine joined her husband in eternity on Sunday December 11, 2005. Her death took place at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie while surrounded by family.

Born on September 6, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor ?Lottie? (King) Stracke.

A life long Kenosha/Racine area resident, she was educated in the schools of Racine.

On June 12, 1943 at Holy Name in Racine, she married Donald N. Fonk. He preceded her in death.

She was a loving wife, mother and dedicated Catholic. She enjoyed shopping and dining out. She especially enjoyed family functions.

She is survived by two sons; Robert Fonk, James (Deborah) Fonk, three daughters; Judith (Michael) Schaffran, Ann (Robert) Krueger, Sally (Don) Wilson, twelve grandchildren; Christine (Tim) Dickison, Steven (Tiffany) Fonk, Kevin Fonk, Nicole (Ryan) Stills Ashley Fonk, Amanda Fonk, Alyssa Wilson, James Fonk, Crystal Wilson, Danielle Krueger, Jonathan Krueger, Michael Krueger; great grandchild Ava Fonk and brother John (Rose) Stracke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grand son Joseph Wilson, and brother Peter Stracke.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jacqueline will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2005 at 10:00AM at St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church in Racine. (1509-Grand Avenue) Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:00AM until the time of mass. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance or the American Cancer Society.

received during her illness.
