She was raised in Hokah, MN, and moved to Kenosha in 1970.
She was employed as a Machinist at Snap-On Tools Corporation for almost 30 years, retiring in May of 2004, and served on the Snap-On Recreation Club Board of Directors.
She was also member of Ladies of the Moose Club, Chapter 155.
She loved to go camping and shared in the joy of it. She taught camping skills to her children and grandchildren, which are now family traditions to be passed on for generations. She was an excellent cook and also an avid Packer fan. She loved to go bowling, play Bingo and play the slot machines at the Casinos. She cherished time “hanging out” with her grandchildren. She was known to have a huge heart and was a friend to anyone who needed one. She strove to make a difference in people’s lives, often turning the time spent with them into friendships and bringing them into her family circle. Helping others and making an impact in their lives was a trait she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons; Keith (Lura) Stiller of Arizona; Justin Scott (Char) Geissman of Silver Lake; Kathryn Stiller of Madison; Alicia (Mike) Chovan of Kenosha; grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends. She is further survived by one brother, Robert Owen, and two sisters: Janice (Ted) Meinders and Carol (Jerry) Loverink.
