Doris Windsor

God called Doris (Hetke) Windsor home to be with Him and her loved ones on Friday July 13, 2018.

Doris was born on September 20, 1926 to Arnold and Alice Hetke in the Town of Cleveland, Chippewa County, WI. Her siblings include Vinton, Eugene, Elberta, Wilmar and Donald. She was married to Murray Windsor on April 10, 1943.

Mother to Bobbie Ann (Steve) Evans and Valerie Rick. She has 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She worked at Western Printing and many years at St. Mary’s Hospital as a seamstress, was a member of Christ Church United Methodist for over 60 years and a member of United Methodist Women. She loved volunteering at her church and nursing homes, snowmobiling, and playing cards and dominoes with the “golden girls”. Her last words were “I love my family”.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Christ Church United Methodist Church (5109 Washington Avenue Racine). Visitation with the family will be held on Friday at the church from 11:AM until the time of service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send condolences to 3057 Meyer Court #3, Mt. Pleasant, WI 53406.
