Daniel O’Donnell (1956 – 2010)

Daniel P. O’Donnell, age 53, a resident of Kenosha, died SaturdayOctober 9th 2010 at the United Hospital Systems Kenosha Medical Center.

Daniel was born on November 19, 1956 in Hampton, VA to William E. and Charlotte (Mullarkey) O’Donnell and was educated in the schools of Deerfield and Highland Park, IL before serving in the U.S. Army.

Daniel worked as a dispatcher for Lincolnshire Riverwoods Fire Prot.Dist. and was then employed for many years by the Illinois Tollway System, where he was a member of the Service EmployeesInternational Union, Local 73. In retirement, he was an active memberof the Racine Fire Bells and a photographer for the Kenosha Fire Department.

Daniel is survived by his parents, his sister Cathie Kos of Mundelein, IL and four brothers, Jim O’Donnell of AR, Brian O’Donnell of AR, Kevin (Maggie) O’Donnell of Oak Park IL, and Tim O’Donnell of Huntley IL. Daniel is also survived by his nephew Sayre (Jennifer) Kos, great nephew J. Michael Kos and nieces Chelsea Kos, Mackenzie Kos, Maille O’Donnell , Maire O’Donnell and Cait O’Donnell. Daniel is further survived by his angel, Lynette Heg, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the United States and Ireland.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Thursday, October 14th 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7117 14th Avenue, Kenosha. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of services.

Please omit flowers as memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated with charities to be designated at a later date.
