Timothy Johnson

Timothy “TJ” P. Johnson age 75 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday November 17th 2016 at Manor Care in Kenosha.

TJ was born on January 24th, 1941 in Kenosha to Albert H. and Genevieve M. (Holahan) Johnson. He attended St. James Grade School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 23rd, 1978 he was united in marriage with Linda Lura in Las Vegas.

For 33 years, TJ worked as a firefighter in Kenosha, retiring in 1997. He was a big Packers fan and loved golf. He loved to travel, especially to Ireland; he loved music, mostly Irish music, and he especially loved his yearly visits to Irish Fest. TJ was formerly a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church and most recently attended Lord of Life Lutheran Church of Kenosha. He belonged to Moose International Lodge #286 in Kenosha and will be missed by many as he was “one of the good ones”.

TJ is survived by his loving wife Linda of Kenosha, his son Troy Johnson of Rhinelander, his daughter Tracy (Martin) Pavilonis of Kenosha and by his two grandchildren Samantha and Andrew Pavilonis. In addition, he is survived by his two brothers, James (Carol) Johnson of Antioch IL and Dennis (Mary) Johnson of Somers and his two sisters-in-law Joanne Johnson of Kenosha and Audrey Johnson of Oak Creek.

Preceding TJ in death were his parents, his brothers Richard and Jerry and his sisters Barbara Ancevic and Mary Lou Hylinski.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday November 22nd 2016 at 6:00PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (5601-Washington Road) Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday at the church from 4:30PM until the time of services. Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
