Sharon M. “Chip” Jacobson, age 63, a resident of Trevor, passed away on Saturday April 4, 2015 at St Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie.

Sharon was born on May 15th, 1951 in Bassett WI to George and Rena (Techert) Dunford. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha County and graduated from Wilmot High School. On February 1st, 1970, she was united in marriage with Kenneth Jacobson in Silver Lake. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage and three beautiful daughters.

Sharon was a homemaker who took great pride in her house and in her family. She was a fantastic cook who used her talents to feed anyone who needed a meal and she volunteered at the Sharing Center in Trevor.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Ken of Trevor and by her daughters; Michelle (Paula) Mau of Nebraska, Carri (Sean) Johnson of Key West FL and Tracey (Jose) Vazquez of Bristol as well as by her two beloved grandchildren Jordan Jacobson and Kiana Vazquez. She is further survived by her three brothers; George Dunford of Arkansas, John (Pat) Dunford of McHenry IL and Bob (Cheryl) Dunford of Pell Lake, and her two sisters Ruth (Butch) Egeland of St. Charles IL and Pat (Bob) Morgan of Paddock Lake.

Services will be private.

  • I am so sorry to hear about this. When I saw you in St. Catherine’s parking lot a few weeks ago, I had no idea of Chip’s illness. I am so sad as she was such a caring person. My condolences and prayers are with you.
