Ronald Rendall (1930 – 2010)

Ronald Clare Rendall age 79 a resident of Kenosha, died Tuesday January 26th 2010 at the Aurora Medical Center.

Ronald was born on July 24, 1930 to Erwin and Ethel (Johnson) Rendall in Zion, IL. He attended school in Zion and graduated from ZBTHS. Ronald has a BA from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He also attended State University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA where he met his wife whom he married on June 12, 1953 in Zion, IL. Ronald lived in Zion and Winthrop Harbor, IL before moving to Kenosha in 1992.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956, stationed in Ft. Gordon, GA, Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Germany. He had several collections.

Ronald was employed by the Zion Benton News for 10 years as a photography, editor and ad salesman. He was also employed by Xerox as a copy machine technician retiring in 2000.

Ronald is survived by his wife Sandi Rendall, three sons Dennis Rendall of Mundelein, IL, David (Karen) Rendall of Phillipsburg, MO, and Doug (Ramona) Rendall of Winthrop Harbor, IL. and two daughters Stacey (Larry) Kreuscher of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Dawn Stewart of Racine, WI. Ronald is also survived by thirteen grandchildren Sara Rendall, Christopher Rendall, Krista Kreuscher, Daniel Kreuscher, Matt Rendall, Tim Rendall, Lisa Rendall, Ezra Rendall, Ross Rendall, Jack Rendall, Joseph Stewart, Sharon Stewart and Cynthia Stewart and one great grandchild Wyatt Rendall. He is further survived by two brothers Art Rendall and Neil Rendall.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 24, 2010 at 12 o’clock noon at Northpoint Community Church in Winthrop Harbor.
