Ronald H. Kole, age 75, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee on Monday May 29, 2017.

Born to Gertrude (Kavalauskas) Kole on September 12, 1941, Ron was educated in local schools; St. James, Washington Junior High and Mary D. Bradford High School.

Ron was a proud Army veteran and it’s fitting that he passed on Memorial Day.

Ron was a Journeyman Union Meat Cutter for 30 years. He worked for various markets in Southern California. He also sold meat for Armour Foods, with large accounts like Magic Mountain and Knotts Berry Farm.

He is survived by his loving partner of 28 years, Kim Sly who will miss “her darling” dearly. He is further survived by his four daughters, Sandra Kole of Fullerton CA, Christine Kutchin and Heidi Schultz of Kenosha and Michelle Kelly of Santa Ana CA, and by his two sons Ronald Kole Jr., and Steven Kole as well as by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Ron was a member of St. Elizabeth Congregation.

A Mass of Christian Burial followed by full military honors will take place on Friday June 2, 2017 at 2:00PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Kenosha. (4816 7th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church from 12:30PM until the time of mass.

In lieu of flowers memorials to either the American Legion or to the Hospice of your choice would be appreciated.

Ron’s words to us: Til we meet again-take your time.
God Bless you all!

Thoughts for Ronald H. Kole (1941-2017);

  • Margaret Heller says:

    Ron I did not meet you that I know of, although you may have gone to school (St James) with my brother Buzz; but I heard many wonderful things about your life with Kim. Kim, I am sorry for your loss and sorry I could not make it to the services on Friday – I have been sick and not exactly on top of things. I so wanted to see you. I hope maybe we can get together soon so I can see how you are doing. My love to you.

  • I’m sorry for your loss. Death is never easy and it brings great sorrow. The Bible can bring you much hope and comfort at this difficult time.. Within its pages are the wonderful promise of the wonderful promises found at Revelation 21;3, 4. God is going to end suffering forever.
