To All Parents (Edgar Guest)
“I’ll lend you for a little time a child of mine,” He said
“For you to love the while she lives and mourn when she is gone
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?”

“She’ll bring her charms to gladden you, but should her stay be brief,
You’ll have her lovely memories, as solace for your grief,
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return.”

“I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true,
and from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labor vein,
Nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again?”

I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, Thy will be done!”
“For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we’ll run.
We’ll shelter her with tenderness; we’ll love her while we may,
and for happiness we’ve known forever grateful stay.”

But should the angles call for her much sooner than we’d planned,
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand”

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a charitable contribution to a local childrens charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Northwestern Memorial Fetal Loss Team in Chicago, Dr. Carmen Woods, Pastor Dave Nelson, and those friends and family who have shown sincere compassion and love through this difficult time.

A memorial service has been scheduled this weekend at St. Marys Lutheran Church.  Arrangements are being handled by Casey Family Options Funerals and Cremations.

Thoughts for Molly Kristine Easton;

  • Dear Mike and Kara
We send our deepest sympathy on the loss of Molly. Jim and I truly understand the pain of loosing a child. You now have a special Guardian Angel to watch over your family. We will list Molly in our Book of Prayers at St. Anne’s Church.
    Warm Regards

    • As I am 12, I am her sister, Eleni. I read this article when I miss her most. As I read it, I know Im not the only one that misses her and can lift boulders of my shoulders.
