Marthella Mueller

Marthella “Marty” Mueller age 81 a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday February 8th 2015 at her residence.

Marty was born on July 22nd 1933 in Kenosha to the late James T. and Thelma (Humphrey) Scoon. She was educated in the schools onKenosha. She was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.

On December 22nd 1951 she married Dean Mueller at First Congregational Church in Kenosha.

She was a purchasing agent for Kenosha Unified Schools for 20 years. Marty was a member of the retired Secretaries of Kenosha Unified Breakfast Club. She loved to knit and craft. Marty was a past member of First Congregational Church and a current member of First Presbyterian Church. She was devoted to her family, particularly Dean, her husband of 60 plus years. She cared for her him religiously, maintaining a faithful daily pilgrimage to the nursing home to spend time with him for over three years. She was adored by her grandchildren and loved each one of them unconditionally.

Marty is survived by her son Stephen (Joan) Mueller of Kenosha, five grandchildren Michael (Megan) Mueller, Thomas (Terri) Mueller, Adam Mueller, Aaron Mueller and Ellyn Mueller and three great grandchildren Eric, Mason and Mia. She is further survived by a brother Robert A. (Judy Pitz) Scoon of Racine.

Marty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean and a son Scott.

The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance as well as St. Catherines ICU for their care.

Funeral services with will be held on Wednesday February 11th 2015 at 4:00PM at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha. (1803-83rd Street) Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday at the church from 2:30PM until the time of services.

The family has decided that memorial donations will be given to First Presbyterian Church.
