Judith Grom (1967-2015)

Judith Grom

On July 20, 2015, God dispatched angels to bring his daughter, Judith Lynn Grom (Ibendahl), home. In life, Judy wore many hats; Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, Sister, Daughter and a Great friend to have. Judy worked in transportation where she took pride in her job and she made many friends that in time became an extended family. Judy enjoyed doing things with her family, such as various board games and traveling. She also enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and dancing. I’m told that she sometimes enjoyed uncooked brownie mix washed down with a Diet Pepsi. As a loving Mother, she was always there for her children, no matter the cost. Sometimes she would escape on her farm-ville to listen to a little bit of Trace Atkins. She loved music, especially Country. Winning $3.75 on LCR night with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lyle Ibendahl. She leaves behind her mother, Connie Hayden (David), brothers Brian (Dana), and Mark Ibendahl. Robert Grom ex-husband and father to their children. Her children; Amber Ibendahl (Jon), Nina Grom (Ryan), Robert Grom, Amanda Grom and Brandon Grom. Grandchildren; Zachery, Bubba Joe, Kody, Dominic, James, Gabriel and nieces and nephews Dakota, Breanna, Brittney and Brinson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 24th 2015 at 11:00AM at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha. (6028-8th Avenue or across from Library Park) Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the Woman’s Club from 9:30AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at St. Casimir’s Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.

  • JUDY!!!!!!!!!!!! SUSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I think of you that is always the first thing that comes to mind. It exemplifies the passion we share for expressing friendship and love. Your willingness to be vulnerable for love’s sake is a gift that caused you heartache, but provided unimaginable joy. Now you know no pain and suffering and those who continue on this plain will carry that part of you with us. Your legacy is clothed in humility, generosity, humor and a commitment to family that is unmatched. You have taught us well kind soul. Until we meet again…I’m sure whenever it is, I will think it’s your birthday.

Amber and Family, . I am so sorry for the loss of such a kind hearted, loving person. I was fortunate enough to be a friend, girl scout leader and co-worker with Judy. Even through the tough times she always had a smile on her face and just made you feel like you were someone pretty special. I will miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I pray that you find peace and comfort in the memories she has created with each of you over the years.

Loving Hugs to all of you.

    Renee
