Cheryl Jankowski (1946 – 2006)

Cheryl A. Jankowski (nee King), age 60, a resident of Sturtevant, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at her home.

She was born December 18, 1946 to parents David A. and Christine King.

Married to James Jankowski on September 9, 1967

She is survived by her husband James; five children, Dianna (Bret) Mattice, David Jankowski, Kevin (Michelle) Jankowski, Kimberly (James) Mahoney, and Robert (Erica) Jankowski; 10 grandchildren, Alexandria, Ryan, Kelsey, Sydney, Kylie, Sebastian, Gavin, McKenzie, Logan, and Reese; sisters, Margaret (John) Porteous, Christine (Bart) Winkelaar, and Barbara (Frank) Zeman; many nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Cheryl worked full time as an LPN at Lincoln Village Nursing Home in Racine. She was also a member of the Scarlet Crested Bodacious Belles Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She attended Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. (1700-South Green Bay Road) Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 1:30 PM until the time of services.
