He opened his first car lot at a young age in the 1960’s called Rambler Drive Auto Sales on 60th street. He also owned Jenny Motors and Marquis Motors. He was well respected in his field and through the years many dealers would call him for advice and estimates when buying and setting up their dealerships.

He enjoyed all sporting events but especially loved to watch his favorite team, the Chicago Bears on Sundays. Kelly was a very good golfer and after 18 holes he would enjoy a few races at Dairyland Dog Track with close relatives and friends.

The greatest joy of Kelly’s life was his love for his family and for his children especially. He attempted to see all the games that his grandchildren played in, whether it was basketball or baseball, and he was delighted to be able to share in their lives.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father.
